Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Night Owl Solutions collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It covers this website, our free missed-call audit form, and the phone calls our AI assistant answers for businesses that use Night Owl.
We’ve kept it in plain English. If anything is unclear, just ask us.
The short version
- This website doesn’t set cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites.
- If you ask for a free audit, the form sends your details to our email so we can get back to you about it.
- When our AI assistant answers a call, it tells the caller at the start that it’s an AI assistant and that the call is recorded.
- A caller’s details go to the business they called. We never sell callers’ information.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information.
When you visit this website
This website doesn’t set cookies, and we don’t use advertising trackers on it.
Cloudflare hosts the website. Like any web host, its servers handle the technical information your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address and the type of browser you use, to deliver the page and keep the site secure.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t follow you to other websites. It shows us totals (for example, how many visits a page got), not a record of what any one person did.
About “Do Not Track”: some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. We don’t track visitors across other websites, and we don’t let other companies do it through our site, so this website works the same way whether that signal is on or off.
The free audit form
When you ask for a free missed-call audit, the form sends us your name, your business name, your phone number, your trade, and your city (or the city you type in if you pick “Other”). It also tells us whether you used the English or the Spanish page.
The form is sent through Web3Forms, a form service, which delivers it to our email inbox.
We use these details only to reach out to you about your audit and our service, and we never sell them.
Getting in touch
If you contact us, we use what you send us to answer you.
If your business signs up for Night Owl
When a business signs up, we collect what we need to set up and run its service: the owner’s name and contact details, business information like hours, services and price ranges, and the details we need to bill for the service.
We use this to build the business’s setup, keep it up to date, and contact the owner about the service.
Calls our AI assistant answers
Night Owl answers the calls a business misses: the business’s own phone rings first, and only the calls it doesn’t pick up go to our AI assistant.
At the start of every call, the assistant tells the caller that it’s an AI assistant and that the call is recorded.
During a call, we collect:
- The caller’s name and phone number
- What they need (for example, the job, the address, or a time that works for them)
- A recording of the call
- Any appointment the assistant books
We use this information to get the lead to the business the caller was trying to reach (the owner gets the details in a text) and to run and improve that business’s setup.
For business owners who use Night Owl: We never sell your callers’ info.
How long we keep it
We keep call recordings, call details and form details only as long as we need them to provide our service and to stay in touch with you about it, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Contact us and tell us what you’d like.
Before we act on a request, we may need to confirm that it’s really you, so we don’t give your information to someone else.
Sometimes the law may require us to keep some information. If so, we’ll tell you.
If you called a business that uses Night Owl, you can also ask that business directly.
Children
This website and our service are made for business owners. They aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. The new version applies from that date.
